US Nonprofits: Best Practices for Global Mission Delivery

During this 90 minute, virtual workshop, Laura Solomon, Esq. and Cindy Bergvall, CPA will highlight key considerations for US Based nonprofits operating abroad.
American nonprofits operating abroad must be careful to understand the laws of each country in which they operate, how to comply with such laws, the risks of noncompliance, and how to best protect their employees and volunteers on the ground. Further, there are special IRS rules affecting charities that engage in activities in foreign countries.

Board Boot Camp: Governing in a Crisis

During this 60 minute session we will cover the roles and responsibilities of board members as well as discuss best practices that can be activated in addressing a crisis. We will keep the call open for an additional 30 minutes for Q&A and to give participants a chance to connect and share.
