Six-week Virtual Nonprofit Board Training

Starting October 28th and running every Tuesday for 6 weeks
5:30-6:45 PM
$99 Members & Non-Members

Joining a nonprofit Board of Directors offers not only personal fulfillment but also a valuable opportunity for professionals to develop leadership experience while supporting a mission that matters to them. Board service helps strengthen leadership and management skills, creates meaningful impact in the community, and expands professional networks—making it an especially rewarding experience for professionals seeking both growth and purpose.

Topics to be covered in the six-week interactive training program include:

  • Basic Governance – Role of the Board/Vital Role of Engagement – CEO & Board
  • Understanding Strategic Planning
  • Fundamentals of Fundraising for Boards
  • Financial Oversight for Boards
  • Measure Impact and Outcomes
  • Assessing Board Opportunities

The course covers the topics needed to be prepared to serve on a nonprofit board or improve impact for your current board service. Participants receive a “Certificate of Completion” after the program and have the opportunity to receive support when looking for a potential board match!
